Beddau RFC’s junior sides now know their opening fixtures in the 2026/27 Cardiff Rugby age-grade competitions, with the Under-12s, Under-13s, Under-14s and Under-15s all set for action during the opening months of the new season.

The pool stages will be played across three scheduled rounds on Sunday 13 September, Sunday 11 October and Sunday 8 November, with Beddau involved in a total of 11 fixtures – seven at home and four away.

It promises to be another exciting campaign for the club’s Mini & Junior section, providing our young players with the opportunity to represent the Green & Golds against clubs from across the Cardiff Rugby region.

Under-12s – Bowl/Shield Pool 3

Beddau Under-12s have been drawn alongside Abercynon, Llanharan and Tonyrefail.

They begin their campaign at home against Abercynon on September 13 before travelling to Llanharan for round two. The pool concludes with another home fixture when Tonyrefail visit Beddau in November.

Under-13s – Bowl/Shield Pool 2

The Under-13s will face Tonyrefail, Llanishen and Rumney in their pool.

Their first game sees them make the short trip to Tonyrefail on September 13, before consecutive home fixtures against Llanishen and Rumney.

8 November: Beddau v Rumney

Under-14s – Bowl/Shield Pool 1

Beddau Under-14s have been placed in a group alongside Aberdare, Llandaff and Dowlais.

They open with home advantage against Aberdare before welcoming Llandaff in October. Their final pool fixture takes them to Dowlais on November 8.

8 November: Dowlais v Beddau

Under-15s – Cup/Plate Pool 2

The Under-15s will compete in the Cup/Plate competition alongside Tonyrefail and Llandaff.

Beddau do not have a fixture in the opening round on September 13 and will therefore begin their campaign away to Llandaff on October 11.

Their pool programme concludes at home to Tonyrefail on November 8.

Another Exciting Season Ahead

The Cardiff Rugby competitions will provide another important opportunity for Beddau’s young players to enjoy competitive rugby while continuing their development and representing the club across the region.

With four age groups competing, 11 pool fixtures and seven games scheduled at home, there will be plenty of junior rugby to look forward to at Beddau during the opening months of the 2026/27 campaign.
