On Wednesday evening Ioan Leyshon, Lucca Alexander-White, Alex Ballinger , Wojtek Kudelka and Alfie John all featured for Coleg Y Cymoedd in the Welsh Schools Colleges Cup final and put on a good showing before they were narrowly beaten 28-26 by a good Ysgol Glantaf outfit.

Leyshon was one of the Cymoedd scorers in what was a hugely exciting game.

On Thursday evening it was the time for Jacob Broadley, Kaylan Bowen and Niall Horne to play at the Stadium with Pontypridd Schools in the Dewar Shield Cup final.

Despite going behind and being on the backfoot for long periods of the opening half by an organised Llanelli Schools outfit, Pontypridd deservedly took the spoils with a strong second half showing running out 27-8 winners.
