The 1st XV made it four wins from four Premiership outings in a nail-biting fixture with Cross Keys at Mount Pleasant Park.
The visitors had the elements with them during the first period and used them to their advantage as they built up a 15-5 half time lead.
Prolific wingman Ewan Roberts again showed his strength in that opening period to cross for a good try in what was Beddau's solitary first half score.
In the second period, Beddau came out of the blocks quickly and were soon back in the game as back row man Leon Rogers powered over for a try which was converted by pivot Ollie Wilde.
It didn't take much longer before the green and golds got their noses in front as man of the match Cody Baker scored another good try which was converted by Callaghan Smith.
Huge credit to the Keys though, as their determination to get the victory remained evident and that was to be rewarded with what was their third try of the afternoon.
Beddau now trailing 20-19, threw everything at Cross Keys hard working defence. They kept Beddau out from getting a fourth try and bonus point and looked like they were going to earn the spoils until an infringement in the 80th minute allowed Callaghan Smith, for the second time this season, to kick a winning penalty.
There was relief felt all around Mount Pleasant as the referee blew for full time as the touch judge's flags lifted for Smith's goal.
Another win for Beddau. Perhaps not their best display of the season but again the spirit on show to get over the line for the win was excellent.
Cross Keys proved they are a really a good outfit who will cause lots of Clubs problems throughout the campaign.
Next up for the green and golds is a visit to the Gnoll to take on Neath this Saturday. The Welsh All Blacks currently lie in third spot, one place behind Beddau. This will be arguably the sternest test of the campaign.
The Athletic made the trip to Kenfig Hill Athletic for their second WRU Division Six East Central fixture of the season.
They clearly showed the strength in depth in the senior squad currently , as Dylan Williams and Jack Little made their first starts in the back row with Noah Davey. There was also a first start for Josh Thomas in the boiler house.
It was Williams who made his mark on the game as he claimed a hat-trick of tries. There were also excellent scores from hooker Rowan Jones who grabbed a brace of tries, Luke Jones, Travis Warhurst, Christian Bird. Sam Wilson as well as the returning Little. Owain Cotter kicked five further conversions as Beddau ran out 60-12 winners.
This was a fantastic all-round performance which pushed Beddau up to third in the table.
There's another huge game for the Athletic this weekend as they welcome current league leaders Tondu Athletic to Mount Pleasant Park. The visitors have enjoyed a great start to the season winning both their opening league games with try scoring bonus points.
There was more good news in the Club as an extremely young Allstars XV came away from St Albans 2nds with an encouraging 31-17 win.
Jack Williams, Dan Rees, Harry Abercrombie, Harry Jones and Ben Thomas all crossed for tries. Ethan Jones added three conversions in the victory.
To see so many players featuring in this game that have come through the youth system over the last two - three years is testament to the Clubs progressive development system and the people who are supporting this programme.
Despite a heavy loss, it was also pleasing to see the Club put out an under 17s team to travel to a good Pontyclun outfit on Saturday. There is a talented pool of players there who will be progressing in youth rugby over the next two / three seasons.
